Profile

Ms. Hunt is a Partner of Osborne, Helman, Scott, Knisely & Stanton, LLP. She focuses her practice in the area of fiduciary litigation, primarily involving trusts, estates, family limited partnerships, powers of attorney, community property and financial account disputes. Ms. Hunt’s practice includes representing beneficiaries of trusts and estates, trustees, executors, and guardians in will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty and fiduciary removal actions. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Hunt has dedicated significant time to improving the law in her practice areas through her legislative work and her service with the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law (“REPTL”) section of the State Bar of Texas, of which she is currently the Chair-Elect. Ms. Hunt also serves as a Board Member for the Texas Real Estate & Probate Institute (“T-REP”), which works on legislation in the trust, estate and guardianship practice areas. She was Chair or Co-Chair of the T-REP Estate and Trust Legislative Affairs Committee for three legislative sessions, where she led the group’s efforts to improve Texas law at the Texas State Capitol.  Ms. Hunt is currently working with a team of attorneys and judges to establish a legal specialization in fiduciary litigation, and she regularly writes and speaks on topics related to fiduciary litigation and legislative updates at Continuing Legal Education programs for other attorneys and professionals in her practice area.
